STATE SUPERINTENDENT OF EDUCATION

The Mississippi State Board of Education seeks an individual with proven education reform leadership and previous successful professional experience to administer the Mississippi Department of Education and lead the state’s primary and secondary schools.

The salary will be in the range of $300,000, plus an excellent state benefits package.  Final salary for the successful candidate will be negotiated and determined based upon proven experience, qualifications and meeting State Board of Education criteria.
