NASBE today joined 52 other national organizations in sending a letter to Congress in support of the Educational Connections Act of 2020. President and CEO Robert Hull comments:
“The ‘homework gap’ has been a longstanding education issue that has only intensified as millions of students and teacher engage in remote learning amidst widespread school closures. We are pleased to partner with other state policy leaders to advocate for expansion of E-rate funding to help meet the demands of home-based learning in this time of unprecedented need. It is an important step toward ensuring equity and access to high-quality instruction for all students.”
